KEA has advocated for quality public schools in Kentucky for more than 150 years and is committed to making schools better for all students and all school employees. Many KEA members are parents, too!  They live and work in your communities and their own children attend school in your districts.  Take time to get to know your child's bus driver, teacher, para-educator, school administrators and all the other important people they interact with at school every day.  Volunteer at your child's school if you can.  Attend school events whenever possible, especially parent-teacher conferences.  Students learn best when their entire "village" works together to create meaningful opportunities and offer consistent support.
