Deadline for application is July 17, 2015
At KEA, we believe that leadership is not only a gift but a right. In order to be the “preeminent voice of public education” in Kentucky, it is imperative that we are guided by energetic and passionate leaders who understand the mission of KEA and the value great public schools. Hence the KEA Fellows Program was developed to foster and mentor emerging leaders in our association.
Becoming a KEA Fellow involves a commitment not only of spirit but of time. Fellows will be mentored by a member of the KEA Executive Committee and immersed in learning the duties and responsibilities of KEA leadership. As a Fellow, you will have the opportunity to attend local, state and national events and experience the association at all levels. In addition, there will be much emphasis on studying leadership styles, finding your own and given unique opportunities to foster and develop your own leadership style.
If you fit this description, we invite you to apply to become a KEA Fellow! It’s an opportunity of a life time and one in which you will develop skills that will benefit you throughout your professional and personal life. Fill out the Fellows application and submit online. We look forward to working with you!
