KEA Supports Increased School Funding, Including Through Video Lottery Terminals The Kentucky Education Association has endorsed Gov. Beshear’s proposal to allow video lottery terminals at the state’s racetracks. KEA President Sharron Oxendine said, “For KEA the issue is not about gambling or the horse racing industry. For KEA, it’s all about gaining desperately needed state revenue, which will result in more money to invest in our children’s education. When we invest in education, we invest in the Commonwealth’s future.”
