Professionalism - ESP Survey
In 2011, the KEA Board adopted the ESP Survey as a priority. KEA is the first state affiliate to take on the challenge of surveying every education support professional (ESP) in the state, both members and non-members.
Almost 12,000 ESPs (over 25%) completed the survey.
The top five districts by number completed are: Fayette County (694); Daviess County (512); Boone County (470); Hardin County (382); Kenton County (340)
The top five districts by percent completed are: Anchorage Ind. (69%); Hart County (68%); McLean County (66%); Erlanger-Elsmere Ind. (64%); Augusta Independent (63%)
Next steps include:
- Releasing results for each school district in a usable format.
- Creating a KEA Guide for using ESP Survey Results.
- Beginning conversations to identify issues around which to organize
